The Olazabal family is happy to announce the opening of Quinta do Vale Meão to visitors interested in wines and in the Douro region. 

Our hospitality staff will accompany you as you discover the historic vineyards around the estate.
Your visit continues in the winery, where you will be able to taste our wines in a dedicated room that simultaneously overlooks the interior of the cellar, as well as the vineyards outside. All our options are subject to reservation in advance. 






  HOW TO GET THERE 

Car
From Porto: 200 km – 2h drive
A4 direction Vila Real/Bragança up to exit 27 direction Alijó/Miranda do Douro > IP2 direction Guarda until Pocinho. Pass in front of the railway station and, 400 metres after, follow the signs “Qta. do Vale Meão”

From Lisbon: 400 km – 3h50 drive
A1 Norte > A23 Abrantes/Castelo Branco (exit 7) > A25 direction Aveiro (exit 36) > IP2 direction Bragança, Trancoso (exit 28A) > at the Pocinho traffic lights turn left, pass in front of the railway station and, 400 metres after, follow the signs “Qta. do Vale Meão”.

Boat
If you are coming by boat, we would be happy to suggest one way of transfer to the Quinta do Vale Meão.
